i3 2120 to a cheap used i5 2500 for Dota 2 worth ?

im seing huge framedrops with my i3 in Dota 2 teamfights it gets below 40 inteamfights it's annoyting paired with a gtx 1050 2gb , i guess it's the bottleneck isn't it , everything else seems fine temps and stuff

Yes it's worth it, as long as you find a decent price. i5 2500 will give you a big difference.

i've use i5-2500k @4.4Ghz about 1-2 years ago, and i can confirm its run 80fps+ paired with gtx 970 on fhd
so yes i5-2500 is worth the upgrade, and i suggest you pick i5-2500k and overclock it, dota likes high clock speed, i think with stock i5-2500 you might get a little frame drops in clash
