I3-3110m vs i5-3210m

Hey all,

I'm looking to buy a budget laptop. I'm considering the Lenovo edge e430.

I have three similarly priced options. I do a bit of gaming and just general web browsing,office etc.
So, here they are:
I3-3110m with GeForce gt g35m

I5-3210 m with GeForce gt 610m

I5-3210m with hd 4000


Thoughts on general performance ? Gaming performance?
I plan to upgrade ram on all 3.

Is the i5 worth it or should I stick to i3 with better graphics card?

What kind of gaming? Those are really underpowered for recent titles. If the screen is really low res that might help a little.

I'd go with the i3 and 635m. The i5 is a bit better because of turbo but either are fast enough. Games are going to be held back by the gpu. http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-635M.66964.0.html

:O what prompt replies, thanks. The specs are low, but I'm getting a good deal and am on a tight budget. The most modern game I play is sc2 (though obviously I'd like the option to move on with my gaming life at some point). But If modern titles don't run, so be it I guess.

Anyway, yeah, I am just looking for general opinions on these two options. Thanks k1114, that's one vote for i3.
