[SOLVED] i3 3220 stopped working after i changed motherboard

well my motherboard only has one working ram slot (H61MS2PV) i got a new one (G61M-S2P) the weirdest thing ever happend i swear everything worked perfectly before the change. tested the new motherboard at the shop with 2 rams and a Pentium G620, when i picked up the motherboard home installed my i3 3220 and boom restart loop 3 secondes no display, didnt know what to do so i picked one of our old cybercafe cpus g630 the pc turned on and found out one ram is not working no more :') tried reseting bios by removing battery trying just one ram everything tried other motherboards the cpu socket is fine ram too gpu works fine, btw removed and plugged gpu when i tried the i3. any suggestions pls :') where i live shops are still closed bcz of corona so im stuck with this

There are three version of G61M-S2P (rev 2.0, rev 2.1 and rev 3.0). Not sure which one you have for G61M-S2P
Pentium G620 and G630 are 32nm sandy bridge 2nd generation. i3 3220 is ivy bridge 3rd generation.

Here is link to CPU support G61M-S2P rev 2.0. If you have 2.1 or 3.0 , select rev 2.1 or 3.0

You may need to put in G620 or G630 on motherboard G61M-S2P to update the bios motherboard. Afterward, put in i3 3220 and it should work.
