I3 3220 vs FX 4300

Which is the better over all cpu? In gaming regular use ect... Anandtech benchmarks show the 4300 better is that true?

I would spend a little more on the FX 6300, or I would get the i3.

DEPENDING on the rest off your pc and what games your wanting to play.

the i3 is slightly faster in games and the fx is slightly faster in regular use.

You can see the AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE comes pretty close to the FX-4300, and is $50 cheaper! With that amount of savings you could bump up your graphics card!

anandtech isnt measuring gaming benchmarks..... i3 is better in that sense, but thats cause its superior single core
