Guys i already decided on getting the i3 3220 with gtx 650 ti. Will it run present games? Will it be worth it? Im new to this so i need your opinions and suggestions. I also thought on changing it first into an i7 4770k or i5 3750k with a MOBO that supports crossfire but without gpu for future proof. Then after some time im gonna get a decent gpu for that. What do you think? an i3 3220 with gtx 650 ddr5 or a i7 4770k or i5 3750k without a gpu? im also on tight budget so i cant go with i7 or i5 with a gpu. Please help me guys.

Solution
Imo i would go for a I5/I7 and save up for a GPU later, you are gonna replace that I3 anyways for gaming the current games, just my opinion though!

What if an 4th gen i3 with gtx 650 ti? I saw that the i3 4130 is better than i3 3220 but same price. Also, will it be okay if i get first a i7 4770k or i5 4th gen for future gaming then get a decent gpu like 7870 sometime?

Cause you know im tight on budget. My choices are i3 3220 with GTX 650 Ti or an i5 3750k, i7 4770k. I dont know what to do. I came from console gaming. Now i want to start building a monster pc starting with just normal budget. If im gonna choose i5 or i7, i can get a decent gpu sometime. Or right now i should get the i3 3220 with gtx 650 ti or hd 7850?

the plain i5/i7 without a gpu will not game. the onboard gpu-s intel provides are a joke. they are intended for business pc-s that have no intentions of gaming. so for gaming an i3 + one of those gpu-s will work better. the problem with the i3+gpu is that if you want more you need to change both later on.

If i get the i5 3750k or i5 4th gen i can save money cause i heard that using i7 4770k for gaming is equal to i5 3750k. So i can save money. Also, what is the best MOBO for the i5 3750k or i5 4th gen that has sli. Thankyou so much.

Thats is pretty correct for most games, But in the future if games will support HT more you'll get more out of the I7. But thats just my personal take on it. The latest I5 will have no problem what so ever with current games and the next few years i assume!

About the Motherboard, i would get something like the ASRock Z87M Pro4, Motherboards are not my strong suit though! ;)

Well, i'm using a GTX 760. i like it, gonna use it with shadowplay to record, but if you got a decent GPU atm you can also save up for maybe even a 770 or 780! And you can message me if you like to ask anything! Don't know how i feel about dropping my facebook here haha :D

Btw you can also use something like a RX 290X i believe, heard some good things about it.
