I3 3240 and gtx 1050ti

I have a gtx 1050ti and my friend is selling his used i3 3240 with a 50$ mobo for when he bought it for a total of 100 eur. Is the deal worth it? Will I be able to run games decently?

If you put in at least 16 gigs of RAM, that card will work really well, so long as you stick to 1080p.
