Not personally, but 3rd generation "Ivy Bridge" CPUs are very well documented. That i3 is a low power and slightly lower clocked variant, runs at 3ghz, and is 2c/4t. I would expect it to be more than adequate for a fast and smooth desktop experience (when paired with an SSD) and will run most games well. New AAA games may have dips into the 40's due to limited CPU power, whereas a newer generation i3 or i5 would be in the 50's or 60+.
