here iss a build anyway. Did my math wrong, will be $74 above budget. You could always go with the i3 4150 if you want it though

Nevermind, thought it said 3570. The 4150 is better processor wise, but basically it comes down to this. Better GPU vs Better CPU. I'd go with the 3470 since you get a better GPU. Also consider changing the GPU to a 280/280x

These days I really dont trust AMD, I have heard a lot of people with artifacting problems and such, I have considered AMD but when I saw the reviews on newegg I said no. lol

asus, msi, or sapphire would do great coolers, msi and asus were said to have had that problem with artifacting but i think that is fixed. if you can spend that much for a gtx 770 you might aswell got a r9 290 which is basically a gtx 780

I can say Im really impressed the 290 comes with 4gigs of vram lol holy shit, too bad it doesnt fit in my budget.

I appreciate all your responses but Im going NVIDIA, maybe in a few years when AMD gets their shit together on quality control I will buy one of their cards meanwhile Intel, Nvidia is the way to go for me.

edit: or do you guys think I should go with haswell i3 and the gtx 770 and later on upgrade to an i5?

i heard gigabyte is voltage locked and not as good of a cooler.

much better cards around the price of a gtx 770 and 2x as good.

get the i5 it will not bottleneck the card. amd is not that bad man those reviews are probably from when it was first released.
if your going to go nvidia then at least get a 780 if you can fit it in your budget or a 4gb gtx 770 then sli it
