Hey guys, so I am helping my girlfriend build her first PC. It will be pretty much just used for gaming. I am from Ireland so I will most likely be buying from Amazon Uk, they seem to be cheaper than anywhere else including the German sites.
She will only be using a single graphics card, I highly doubt she will ever buy another. I would like it to have some bells and whistles, like usb 3.0, decent enough audio and enough expansions to add a wifi/bluetooth card etc. I have being looking around the past week and it has been melting my brain on which one to choose.

I seen the Gigabyte H97-HD3 as a potential buy but its a bit pricey, it works out at €90 which is a bit to much. I would say €80 would be the maximum, but if anyone can find one cheaper with what I would need that would be great. An atx board would be ideal as she bought and Zalman Z9 Plus so.

Really appreciate anyone helping, thank you.:)

I don't think that it will cause any issue, as crucial ballistix sport doesn't have a tall heat spreader.

Bit the bullet and ended up just getting the Gigabyte H97-HD3. Not sure if the i3 4160 will work right out of the box with it, not to familiar with Bios updates and such. Thanks for you help FunGui.
