Question i3-4160 or i5-4460.

Hi

My main pc have a cpu i3-4160. I have aquired another cpu which is an i5-4460. I have 12gb of ram and gtx750ti, ssd etc. Which cpu is best for overall performance like browsing the web with multiple taskbar opened and gaming like farming simulator 22 and world of warships?

The 4460 has 4 cores and is noticeably stronger overall, but in single core strength it is slightly weaker.

It's easy to say go with the the 4 core choice, but you might not notice much difference when doing menial tasks.

I don't know which would be better for your particular gaming tasks, but single core strength is usually very important for gaming.

Do you have expectations of a big difference? Maybe lower them.
