i3 4160 vs fx 6300

Which card would be better for gaming? Mostly GTA 5 and battlefield 4 and pitcher 3
also, which one has more options for upgradeability and please give an option to a motherboard too and the budget has to be under around 160-170 max for the cpu and the mobo. thanks

the i3 will be better for most gaming applications.

tell me the budget for your whole computer, just from what im hearing you want a motherboard that is SUPER overkill and about 3 times as much as one that you need, unless you don't live in the united states in which case i am misunderstanding your price.

Do you need an OS/monitor/peripherals? where do you live?

i mean that it has to be 160-170 usd including the cpu . my total budget has to be around 500 and this is what i have so far in my mind
r9 280x- 220 dollars
600 watt evga psu- 60 dollars
8 gb hyperx fury - 45 dollars.

and that is it so far. so i need the rest of the components. thanks

i don't need an os and i don't care about rebates. i don't use them. also if you have to cut corners a bit as i know i am asking for a lot with little money, i may be able to go to a 280 or 270x if i can game at 60fps at 1080p at med settings on gta 5 and bf4

this will cost you 30$ less with rebates, and you would want to get an n200 case if you want to fill out rebates, The gtx 960 is cheaper by quite a bit than a 280x and is cheaper better than a 280 anyways
