Hi guys. So I recently built a computer with a pentium g3258 in it but now I find out it has problems with recent games and some of the newer games just don't support dual core's at all anymore. It blows but I guess I should of seen it coming and i'll have to upgrade.
Which of these would be the best upgrade option? I want it to last for future games for atleast a year maybe two, and it will be paired with a r9 270.

x4 860k + new mobo
or
steal my gf's old i5-760 (oc'd)
