i3 6100 and 1.5V

Hello. Im bit confused right now.
I bought a i3 6100 CPU and a Kingston HyperX Savage 8GB 1866Mhz DDR3.
I just discovered that the i3 and DDR3 1.5V ram wont work very well. Is it true? If it is, is it a big problém?
I have an Asus H170-PLUS D3 mobo which supports DDR3 and a Skylake CPU.

It isn't supported by Intel, though Asus does claim it will work. I personally wouldn't do it because I would be worried about damaging the memory controller in the CPU, but it's up to you. Many people claim it works fine.
