Hey, so I have buildt one gaming pc Before, but when my cousin ask me to assemble parts for a more, of a budget gaming pc I choose the following parts for him
Cpu:i3 6100
Gpu:rx 470 8gb from sapphire nitro+
Motherboard:Gigabyte GA-B150M-HD3
Ram: Hyperx fury, 8gb 2x4 gb cl14 2133mhz
Case: Corsair carbide 200r
Powersupply: Cooler Master B600 VER.2, 600W PSU
Storage: Seagate 1tb harddrive
Os: Windows 10 32/64 bit usb
But my question are since he is using dvi dual link he couldent get a 4gb version of the rx470 (I live in sweden so meaby there is a 4gb version of the card with dvi d but not in sweden) so will the rx 470 8gb version bottleneck i3 6100 in cpu intensive games ?

What is the cheepest powersupply that can still power the rx 470 8gb version ? and not blow up and it dosent have to be modular ?

Hello yeah I wrote in the original question that the monitor my cousin is going to use only have dvi d and the 4gb models dont have that in the i/o and then you may think he can buy a adapter yeah he could but the monitor dont run at 1920 1200 anymore then

AMD drivers are really bad in some games and so if you don't have a super strong CPU it will run slower then it should.
Although AMD cards are stronger in general, for this reason nvidia cards run better, especially with lower CPUs.

(check youtube for amd driver overhead)

^ no that's absolute rubbish !

Thezcar - there's some confusion here mate regarding outputs.

The sapphire nitro models

Rx470 4gb
Rx 470 8gb
Rx 480 4gb
Rx 480 8gb

Are identical externally - all the video outs etc are EXACTLY the same.

The 480 nitro 4gb costs less on komplett than the 8gb 470 & its a stronger card.
