hey guys I'm looking at scrapping my crappy amd processor and its mobo I am looking at an i3 6100 and Asus Intel PRIME B250M-K my questions are will the i3 6100 work with the mobo out of the box? and can I still use my ddr3 1600mhz ram? or do I need to get ddr4 for this board and cpu? Thanks guys

Solution
According to the manufacturer web site of the motherboard https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-B250M-K/specifications/ specification web page
it shows the memory required for it is :2 x DIMM, Max. 32GB,DDR4 2400/2133 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory

According to the manufacturer web site of the motherboard https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-B250M-K/HelpDesk_CPU/ cpu listing the I3-6100 is indeed supported from bios 0211
