i3-6100 vs fx-6300

im building a pc for around $500 and im deciding which cpu to get so i can game at 1080p will good fps and loud nicely

The i3 is superior, although your budget will likely be over $600 at that price.

*Note* All 'budgets' that I mention do not include monitors, operating systems, nor peripherals.

The AMD will do fine at 1080p, however, the entire system is outdated as AMD has not really provided a new chipset for that CPU. The Intel i3 is faster and has support for the newest chipsets (features).

As long as the AMD supports what you want, it will be fine. If you can afford the Intel, do it. You can upgrade to an i5 later and be even faster while the AMD has no upgrade path.
