Because the G4560 is a 2 core, 4 thread chip just like the i3's, but at far less cost (like half).

The difference between them is pretty minimal, I'd probably just go with the 470 and use the savings for a game or SSD (including the savings for getting the Pentium).

Agreed on both accounts.

G4560 gives you 85-90% of the performance at 60% of the cost, frankly there is no i3 that is worth the cost difference, you need to jump up to i5 before you really getting anything more for your money.

At $30 difference the 470 is the better deal.
