So i am going to build a gaming PC but i have a difficult choice to make, i don´t have a big amount of money to spend on this so whatever i buy now is going to have to last a few years.
My question is, should i get an i3 7100 / RX 470 and buy a 1080p screen or get the i5 7400 / RX 470 and use the 768p screen that i have. Is it worth to get a better CPU now and buy a new screen when i can afford one which will be in a long long time, or should i get a nice 1080p screen with a lower end CPU? The only reason i am asking this is because i really won´t be able to buy either a new cpu or a new screen for ages, is it worth the lower end cpu for a better image quality?
If i could afford any of them soon i wouldn´t even think twice about getting the i5 7400.
