How can I update the Bios if my PC boot up. but no signal is sent to my monitor. Should I plug in a USB stick with the bios flash on it? I don't know what to do so please help me. It's my first build. As i said the fans and the led works. but no signal sent to my monitor. So like i can't do anything. I've thought to plug in my BIOS flash into the pc, cause the pc could reconise it and show the bios. Her are the parts. AsRock H110M-HDS, Intel Core i3 7100, EVGA 1050ti 4gb SP, Kingston DDR4 2133Mhz 2x4gb, WD blue 1TB, Corsair Case, EVGA 500w 80+white

Just to give you some additional information as to why you had that problem:

The motherboards with the following chipsets: H110, B150, H170, and Z170 were released at the time the Intel Skylake CPU series (such as the i3-6xxx, i5-6xxx, and i7-6xxx) were released. These motherboards were intended to run the 6th-gen Skylake out-of-the-box.

When the new 7th-gen Kaby Lake CPUs (such as the i3-7xxx, i5-7xxx, and i7-7xxx) were released, new motherboard units by different manufacturers also came out alongside them. These are the B250, H270 and Z270 motherboards and intended to support both previous 6th-gen Skylake CPUs and the 7th-gen Kaby Lake CPUs.

So, those older motherboards (H110, B150, H170 and Z170) that were manufactured prior to...
You can't boot that CPU unless you have a Skylake to update the BIOS , or get a B250 board.

Try to find a friend or local shop if possible to flash it for you with a Skylake.

This has been a common issue for a few weeks now....Sorry this happened yo you.

The boards will eventually catch up and have a compatible BIOS in a couple of months.
 
Option 1:
Buy the cheapest Skylake CPU (i.e., the Celeron G3900). Plug it in. Update BIOS for your i3-7100 to work. Sell or keep the Celeron G3900 as you wish.

Option 2:
Contact the seller and have your ASRock H110M-HDS replaced/exchanged with a B250 motherboard of your choice.

Option 3:
Contact the seller and have your i3-7100 replaced/exchanged with an i3-6100 (or other Skylake CPU of your choice).
 


 


This is what I was expecting to do also, but thnaks for the answer because my annoying father wants some facts to say about getting a new CPU or going to a shop to flash the bios. Ya cause I'm young so my father thinks that I go a little bit to fast to buy things (he's not completely wrong, as you can see). I've looked to see shops who do that and i've found one who Flash the Bios for 15$.
 


Thanks you for answering me, it really means something to me. And my dad want to see facts about why would I buy a new CPU or going to a shop to flash the BIOS. I'm gonna go for my own solution, cause i don't want to buy a new CPU, I'm young so i don't really have some money, but i spent it into a pc, not a console, cause I'm smarter then console owners (this is only my personal thoughts). My dad thinks that it's cool to, at my age (I'm 14) to build a PC. THanks for helping me with this hell of problem.

This may be your case as you may have gotten a motherboard that was manufactured way back before that i3-7100 was released.

There may be some of that older motherboard series being manufactured as of this date (i.e., after the release of the 7th-gen CPUs). These motherboards may now have an updated BIOS out-of-the-box as it was manufactured after the release of the Kaby Lake..
