[SOLVED] I3 9100f sli setup bottleneck

Solution
You saying "do some research" is quite annoying.

I have an overclocked 4 thread Ryzen 3 1200 which would only be a tad behind the locked i3. My 1200 stutters and freezes as its pegged to 100% in gta and i have a much inferior gpu. Sometimes when playing games with youtube in the background my cpu maxes out and my youtube freezes.

I'm doing research every time i turn my pc on and run a game.

We have done research and provided you with evidence to backup our claims. If you would watch the evidence we have provided in the form of the video with the 7600k vs 1600, you would see the 4 core 7600k has a much lower 1% low figure in general compared to the Ryzen 5 1600. This indicates the 7600k maxed out and stuttered where the 1600 didn't...
An i3 9100f will limit 2x1080s in sli, or even a single 1080.
Sli scaling in modern titles is poor. You will see little benefit from the second 1080.

A 4 thread cpu like a 9100f would bottleneck a 1070 in a lot of demanding titles. You really need a 6 core like a Ryzen 5 3600 or i5 9600k to have a good experience with a higher end gpu.

From my net search i found that i3 9100f will be on par with i7 6700 and in some games is in front from a ryzen 2600...dunno where did u found that results....anyway thnx for your answers

The only way i can see that being true is for single core performance only. The latest triple A titles are very demanding and require superior multicore performance which won't be anywhere near the i7 6700 and Ryzen 2600.

Can a i3 9100f handle 2 gtx 1080? Or not?

What is your monitor's resolution and refresh rate?

Why do you want to run two cards in SLI? Support for SLI is disappearing, and the performance benefits, when you get any benefit at all (and sometimes performance can be worse, depending on the game), is not worth the added cost, power consumption, and hassle.

no one chooses 4 a core/4 thread CPU in 2019 for gaming....(intentionally, if informed, anyway)..

The R5-1600 is dirt cheap, and far superior with it's 8 threads preventing stutters...
It was a warranty return from a 970 fx board it was free actualy
For my board theu give me a refurbished 970 or the intel i3 9100 so i chose the i3...
And the r5 1600 stutters like hell....alot complaining with the specific cpu....
Do some research

A 4 cores/thread 9100 is going to struggle more than a 1600 in modern games. Nothing wrong with the 1600 with good motherboard and RAM choice. I’d suggest it is you that needs more research.

Instead of saying "do some research" how about you back up the claims you are making in this thread?
Its not up to users to research your point of view so that they can then counter whatever you may or may not be finding.

That being said, an i3 with anywhere near that graphics configuration is a terrible idea.

With the i3 9100F's 4 cores, you wont see more than a 5 fps difference on any GPU above a GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5X (they made lower memory models with the same label just to confuse consumers smh) or an RX580 from the AMD side.

Now i haven't seen a ryzen 3 1200 irl but from the research i did online the 9100F is superior enough to the ryzen 1200(no OC) to justify its price tag. But then the 1200 can OC to match that i3 so unless youre a not an overclocker, theres no merit to buying an intel. The 2x 1080Ti setup cracked me up for a bit tho lol.
