i3 to i5

hi sir and mam i'm just new here and i need some help.. i have DELL INSPIRON i3 3847.. it is able to upgrade to i5 core and how? thank you in advance

There's no reason you can't. What current I3 do you own? You have to get an I5 of the same generation. Also, why do you want to upgrade?

It's usually the i3-4170 , i5 4460 , i7 4790.

Usually these 3 are offered.
