I3 vs A10 vs A8 vs FX6100

Which processor is best for multitasking not gaming? My only options are the i3 2120, i3 3220, A10-5800k, A8-3870k and FX6100

I think that the AMD cores will be better in single thread applications but the i3 will win in multi threaded. What sort for "multitasking" will you be doing?

Typical scenario would be streaming HD video whilst downloading large files and virus scanning. But wouldn't the AMD be better at multi threaded tasks seeing as it has more cores. I think I've ruled out the A10 and FX and is a straight fight between the A8 5600k and the i3 3220.
