Hello, I'm making a mini itx build in the Fractal Node 202, and I'm trying to decide between an Intel build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MbQBHz or an AMD build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zLGZqp. This computer will be mostly used for gaming, and I plan to use this computer for as long as possible. My only main concern is that The ASRock H510M-ITX/ac just came out not too long ago and there aren't many reviews so I don't know how good it is. So between these two builds, which would be better bang for buck?

Not 100% sure but I think you can only run 2666mhz on the 10400f if you not on a Z MotherBoard. Anyone know for sure? But if both CPS's are running 3200mhz ram the 10400f is the better processor. 3600 has a much better upgrade path with cheaper motherboards.

Also the 10400f pull less watts then the 3600 So I would spend less money on a cooler (unless you like 11th gen intel then I would get a Aio) . I like the AM4 upgrade path more and would get the 3600, but if you will never upgrade the 10400f is a good option.

Correct

Intel's TDP is in reference to the BASE frequency (2.9GHz) which desktop chips will almost always exceed for infinite duration under load. The i5-10400 and the Ryzen 3600 consume roughly the same power under load.

I agree They roughly use the same power. I'm using the benchmarks from here

@16:15 as to my conclusion on power draw. I am not a Expert on TDP. You should be able to use the stock cooler with the 10400f if you buy a retail version depending on your noise tolerance.
