[SOLVED] i5 10600k or ryzen 7 3700x

I just can't choose what cpu to buy. I will use cpu for gaming(esport games and aaa games) and a little bit of streaming. What cpu i need to buy, i5 10600k or ryzen 7 3700x? I can't chose because x570 mb has pcie gen 4 but z490 dont ect.

I would choose Ryzen 7 3700X if streaming is involved, even if you use OBS+NVEC.

And yeah the pcie 4 is something that may come in handy.

3700X. If you need extra cores later just in case you get into 3D rendering and modelling or video editing or hentai VR, you can easily grab a cheap 3950X and plug it in and now you have 16 cores.

I said cheap assuming you're not going to upgrade in 2 to 3 years.
