The question is up there. My specs: i5 12400f
G.skill ripjaws 3600 mhz 32 gb (2x16gb)
My motherboard is asus b660m plus wifi d4 so it can handle 3600mhz ram
I read that 3200 mhz is without xmp. So I can use it on 3600 mhz. But on other site someone write that it's with xmp enabled. So im confused Can I use it on 3600 mhz or not?

Yes it's with X.M.P enabled. Anything above DDR4-2133MHz is actually an overclock which is why you need to manually input the frequency, timings and voltage or enable X.M.P in BIOS. The info on Intel's spec's page states DDR4-3200MHz is the highest the memory controller will go without any overclock/stress on it. The memory controller can do DDR4-3600MHz, mind you.

Make sure you're on the latest BIOS version prior to performing an overclock regardless of ram or processor.

On Intel's locked processors (12400F is locked) going to DDR4 3600 is hit and miss due to the locked voltages on those parts. I wouldn't count on going above 3200 with any locked part without having to do manual tuning.

This isn't accurate as there are certainly JEDEC 3200 kits and timings. XMP kits tend to run at a base JEDEC spec of 2133 though.
