I5 2300 and GTX660ti possible bottle neck?

i will be buying a 660ti in the next few weeks but im a little worried about bottle necking

would i experience bottle necking with a 660ti upgrade?

my specs as of this point in time

CPU: i5 2300 2.8ghz
GPU: GTX 275
PSU: OCZ fatality 750w
RAM: G.skill 8gigs
OS: WIN7
MOBO: intel DH67BL

No, 4 core i5's are powerful in gaming.

You might want to look up some tricks in order to get some backdoor free performance from your cpu though, like messing with the BCLK.


I hear you can get 3.6 ghz out of it. =)

Im pretty new to over clocking so i don't know what the BCLK is

the only overclocking i have done is on my gpu

Have fun! You have an intel mobo though... I am not sure if it has the option to mess with the BCLK though...
