[SOLVED] i5 2400 (Intel HD Graphics 2000) Hardware Encoding

Hi, i hope everyone is doing well

My question is that does the iGPU on i5 2400 support H.264 (MPEG-4) encoding ?

Since im trying to use it with Steam Remote Play and Steam Link App ,the Steam client wont use the igpu for encoding and i have enabled the igpu in the bios as well and even plugged a monitor into it

So im confused since it has QuickSync feature but does it support H.264 (MPEG-4) encoding

First quicksync that supported x264 was haswell.

You can get really cheap GPUs that support x264,especially second hand.
