Hi guys.

Long story short... 3 months ago I had the following setup and my CSGO used to easily run at 150-200 fps:
i5-2400
dh67cl
gtx 750ti 2gb
2x4gb ddr3 1333

All of sudden, after november update, BAM! 80 FPS tops! I thought to myself: it must be the graphics card. So my friend gave it to me a 600W power supply and a R9 290X.
Installed it and CSGO hardly goes over 130 FPS (while in his machine it would even hits 350 sometimes, 230 average). He runs an i7-3820.

Is i5-2400 not enough for CSGO no more? Should I get an i7-3770? Will I see a boost of performance at all?

Thanks

Quick Edit: I run CSGO at 1440x900 Low Settings (tried at 1024x768 and got the same results)
