i5 2400 to i5 3470 ??

I'm planning to upgrade to i5 3470..Is it worth the performance ?? Will i be able to play games in a better way with the upgrade ??

My Current Rig:
i5 2400@ 3.1GHz
8gb corsair 1333Mhz
MSI R7850 Power Edition
Corsair VS550

Please provide your opinion.

Not a major leap up, it's really not worth it. If you're set on upgrading your CPU, you should jump to the 4xxx Intel CPUs.

No! Really the only upgrade would be if you had a board with OC capability and then go to "K" series CPU and overclock.

Jumping from i5 2400 to i5 3470 or i5 4570 will not bring that much.
If you want to feel the upgrade go at least for the i5 4670k and OC it.

but my mobo doesnt support 4th gen processors...forgot to mention it is Intel DH67CL..so im stuck with the 3rd gen ...

Then don't upgrade the 2400 is that close that there will be no noticeable difference.
