i5 2400 vs i5 2500

Slightly slower than the 2500 (5-10%)

In base clock 2500 is 200 MHz higher than a 2400 (3.3 GHz for 2500 and 3.1Ghz for 2400)
In turbo its a 400mhz (3.7ghz for 2500 and 3.3Ghz for 2400)
the 2500 would be better, but there wouldn't be noticeable difference in performance

If you already have the 2400 then i no, it's not worth spending money on the 2500.

Your issue will be finding a motherboard , unless you already own one??

Yup that'll do , if you can get the 2400 for €65 it'll make a good pairing with a 1050ti.

Be aware you're buying into a very old chipset here mate , no fancy features , usb3 or sata 6gbs.

On a tight budget though , yes it'll do the job very well.
