Hello, i bought my PC 4-5 years ago, Dell Optiplex 380 with Pentium Dual Core E5800, 4 GB RAM. I used it for office work. Few months ago, i bought GT 1030 GPU. My CPU cant keep up to the GT 1030, its just a big bottleneck. I currently dont have much money, but i found 2 pcs that are pretty cheap.
1. i5 3470, 8 GB RAM, 500GB HDD for 190 Euros.
2. i5 2400, 8 GB RAM, 320 GB HDD for 125 Euros.
What do you think is better?
(I will use this PC for office work, and for some gaming (Rising Storm 2 Vietnam, ...))

Solution
Oh, I hadn't even noticed the smaller drive the first time.

If I were picking, I'd go with the last one, the 2500 with the 500GB hard drive for €140
The performance difference between them is going to be fairly minimal, with the i5-3470 being slightly faster, and having somewhat lower power consumption.

Honestly, though, I don't personally think it's worth the extra money - the i5-2400 should do just fine.

I'd get the i5 2400. I can't imagine any scenario where you'll notice a difference between these CPUs, especially when paired with a 1030. So I would not pay extra for the other ones. You can probably buy a better hard drive for less too. The only reason to choose based on hard drive is if it comes with a Windows key that you need.
