hello

this is the description of my problem. i have workstation Z210 from Hp that shows following specifications : CPU i5-2500 3.3ghz, 4 G RAM ddr3, PSU 400watts, Hp costumed motherboard. recently i bought gigabyte GTX 1050ti oc windforce dual fan without 6 pin connector. unfortunately it did not work and kept showing on startup the message of (press esc key for startup menu) with some spaced Bips and no action seems to have effect. I read that the problem is my old motherboard which does not accept BIOS update required for new GPU as gtx 1050ti.

so my question, is it possible to replace my actual motherboard with one which would accept my both CPU and GPU, any suggestions.
please come on my help

Solution
Hello neighbour from Slovenia,
I think it is hard time now finding new 1155 socket motherboard so I suggest you looking for some used motherboard.
Yes it is very possible to replace the motherboard. You would need an h61 motherboard or something similar (really just make sure the motherboard has the lga 1155 socket) and you should be good. Only problem is that hp motherboard is custom, so an off the shelf motherboard will probably not fit in that HP case, so you may need to buy a new case

here's a link to a good motherboard and case: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7y8Wqk

thanks for reply
the motherboard you suggested is unfortunately not available here in Slovenia at least until now, I found this asus H110M-D. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H110M-D/specifications/
the socket seems to fit my CPU and motherboard accept higher version of BIOS.
and since the one you suggested is MSI, i found this too

what do you think
thanks in advance

Those motherboard would actually not work, they have the lga 1151 socket. The i5 2500 needs the lga 1155 socket. Just search for h61 motherboards if possible.
