Hi,
I have an old i5 2500k on Asrock Z77 Extreme4. CPU is overclocked to 4.2 following the guide published on Tom's Hardware but there is one thing that confuses me. I have deactivated Speedstep and set Host Clock to 100. System is stable for 14 hours on Prime95. Under W10 system is set to High power settings.
1. When CPU should be under full load (i.e. Battlefield 4) CPU-Z registers core speed of 3.300 with the multiplier fixed at 42 but the Bus speed fluctuates. Shouldn't it be fixed to 100 according to BIOS? If so, which particular setting affects this apart from Host Clock Override?
2. Why can't I enable/disable Intel Turbo Boost Technology? When skipping through menu items it jumps over this particular feature?
BIOS: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vd1ukz9xmr6chc5/2016-01-18%2011.47.04.jpg?dl=0
Thank you all,
Imp
