Hello!
I found this deal on Newegg where you could get an Rx 480 for 185$ with a 20$ mail in rebate. I was looking on cragslist and found a prebuild computer for 150$. It contains:
-Dell 20 inch Widescreen Monitor
-Keyboard & Mouse
-Intel Core i5-2500 (Quad Core) CPU @3.30 GHz
-8 GB PC3 RAM (32 GB Max)
-500 GB HD
-DVD Burner
-10 x USB Ports
-Built in Speaker
-Win 10 Pro
-Cheap case
-Power supply (Ill have to remove and get a better one)

Would this run game at 60 fps at 1080p? Or is the processor to old? Should I just get an i3 with ddr4 ram?
Thanks!

Nope. You're good. The i5-2500 is still a viable CPU for gaming, and the RX-480 will be a good match.

But the choice between it and a new platform with a Hyper-Threaded i3 Skylake might be a better solution in the long run. The new socket isn't obsolete... yet.
