i5 2500 vs i5 2500k vs i7 2600k streaming cs:go/LoL

The question is simple:
i5 2500 vs i5 2500k vs i7 2600k for streaming LoL/CS:GO @720p .
I know they are pretty old but its for a budget pc. The best price option for me is 2500 and the question is if it will be much slower than the 2500k and 2600k?

If you can afford the 2600k, go for it, as with streaming you will need the most power you can get with these older chips. if you cant and have to go with the 2500, only get the "k" skew if you plan to overclock.

If you've got the motherboard already, then you should be able to flash it to handle i5-3570 which would be a slightly faster chip.

With the right motherboard and CPU cooler the 2500k is going to be the best bang for the buck. Easily reach 4.5Ghz or so.

i7-2600k would be similar, and it might be the better long term investment with the hyperthreading. Newer games will be able to take advantage of that.
