Yeah Both are old Cpus and you got your i9-11900k with rtx 3090 nvlink, stop flexing already >:-( , Anyway onto the question i recently got myself a new motherboard and thus new cpu which is the i7 6700 and ddr4, compared to my old system which was an i5 2500 and ddr3, i want to know how much of an upgrade this really is? Bechmark says that i7 6700 is 6% better, but since you already guessed that im an idiot, you can tell i dont know how much of a difference that is, so can you tell me in simple words how much difference does this make? also does better cpu speed up loading times?
Additional info
OLD SYSTEM
Hp Compaq 8200 elite sff
CPU:i5-2500
GPU:Gtx 960 2gb windforce OC
PSU: 250w + 500w (Don't ask, Just don't)
SSD:Su750 SSD 256gb 500MB/s
RAM: 10gb of ram DDR3
NEW SYSTEM
HP Elite Desk 800 g2 TWR
CPU:i7-6700
GPU:Gtx 960 2gb windforce OC
PSU: 500w
SSD: Nvme m2 KingSpec 126gb 1900MB/s

(Answer only if you want to answer the questions i asked on this thread, i did not ask you for suggestions about what set i should buy, or what i should do with it)
