Question i5 2500k gtx1060 and only CSGO 90fps

hi everyone so i have this 2011 i5 2500k with GTX1060 running CS GO everything on low and only 90fps stable, so my question is this cpu too old for better fps in this game

No, the 2500k should be plenty and provide 200-300. Check the cpu/gpu temps to see if anything is overheating. Re-install the gpu drivers with the newest. Is there something in the background sucking up resources?

From there, it could be a number of reasons from psu problems to the bios or just plain old windows being windows.
