System Usage from Most to Least Important: CADD, Gaming, Media, Multitasking

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: any, i have used newegg amazon and tigerdirect before

Country of Origin: USA

Parts Preferences: i5 2500k, z68, Micro ATX, This case: NZXT Vulcan[url/] Either an SSD or Powerful graphics card would be awesome, both would be tough on this budget
Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: probably not

Monitor Resolution: 1280x1024 for now. upgrade later this year

Additional Comments: Quiet would be preferable. I realize it is a pretty tight budget for the specs i am hoping for.

Edit: The Microcenter i5 deal wont work for me. it would take a full tank of gas to get to the nearest microcenter which negates any savings.

Haha that's great congrats! I don't know but shell shockers are well, shellshockers all the deals end at the given time, but good for you! Maybe if you kept the deal in the cart when it was going on you still get the offer?

EDIT: Err, perhaps I just misunderstood Shell shockers from the beginning, perhaps the shell shocker deals get revealed at the given time but last throughout the day. Embarrassing... Haha at any rate I apologize then but good luck with your build it looks great!
