Hey am thinking about bumping my i5 up to 4.0Ghz. I am currently using HWiNFO64 to monitor vcore + temps and usage etc. What kind of programs should I use in terms of stability testing etc?

Currently while gaming the max temp is 41C at stock speeds, should I expect much of an increase if I manage to avoid increasing the voltage?

Never mind, the H61 boards can't go higher than 3.7Ghz..

So in Planetside 2 I was getting maximum speeds of 3.492Ghz on all 4 cores, and going low as 1.9Ghz on some cores. This is entirely stock, no messing with the multiplier. I assume that is Intel turbo boost which is pushing it slightly above the stock speeds of 3.3Ghz?

Does the multiplier set the turbo boost speed? so setting it to x37 for example would put the speed up to 3.7Ghz on all cores while under load?
