i5 2500k or i5 4440 for pcsx2 and dolphin

hi,
my friend want to buy a new pc.... he decided to go with i5 2500k,but i recommended him i5 4440....he is not a hardcore games,he is between casual and hardcore...

now to the point..
i am having amd sempron with integrated gpu(radeon 3000 grapghics) and run...GODHAND and smackdown :here comes the pain with my brother at native resolution(512x448) gameplay is nice and less lag.
but when i start 3 playesrs game become slow...
so, I want to know if he should buy i5 2500k or i5 4440 for pcsx2 and a R9 270x will be able to run games at 2x native resolution.
need your opinion...

I would say get an i3 and maybe a r9 280 instead.

just buying the CPU and a system, also does the motherboard support the CPU ur trying to get.

2500k is better if you will overclock it, which might need a cooler.

sorry can't believe I did that😀 I would say both would be fine but the 4460 is on a newer platform an if you have a Z97 or H97 mobo you can upgrade to broadwell so I would say that it would be the winner in my view.
