Hey guys.

I have been running 4.5 Ghz on 1.35 voltage for a while and things are fine. I now have it at 4.2 with 1.32V. I have been getting a little annoyed with my fans so I lowered the speeds on both CPU and Chassis fans. My temps went up and now I want to go back to my default voltage. What is the highest I can go approx? I'd want at least 4Ghz.

Thanks!

If you want stock volts, just reset your OC settings to stock, and run Prime95 and check the voltage under CPU-Z, then set that as your voltage.

And the TJ Max is actually 98*c.

I noticed that you have the same MB as me. What Bios are you running? DId you update to 2001 or 1704 and if so did it help with stability?

I'll give that a try (stock settings) and bump up the multplier to maybe 42 and see if it runs stable.

You'll just have to test it out yourself. If you have a good chip, you might be able to get 4.4-4.5 with stock voltage. My 2600K will do 4.4 stable a hair under stock voltage

I upgraded before I tried overclocking, so I don't know about stability. I'm on version 2001.
