I'd swap the Hdd for a Cavalier blue of 500gb or 750gb for the pure reason of the blacks can be noisier and in my experience the blues are perfectly fast enough. Thats just a personal preferance.

I have that Hd and it gives great performance. BTW im biassed I hate the cavalier blacks. I've had bad experiences.

the 750W is overkill. You need 500W for 1 card, or 650 for Crossfire.


Rather than any WD, I'd suggest the Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB drive, on sale at newegg for $49.99 after promo code

^+1 the spinpoints are amazing!

The spinpoint will give you higher performance than a blue their aimed at the Black series but have less issues lol.

as far as the PSU for a 20-30$ difference should i risk going down to 620w? i feel like id rather be ready for any upgrades with the 750 especially with the price difference whats everyones thoughts?

Nope everything is from Newegg i went for the 6870 over the 6850 because the slight price difference is worth the upped graphic results especially once crossfired down the road
