I have an old i5 2500k 3.3ghz based system with GTX 760 4gb and 8gb ddr3 ram. Is it worth it to get a newer graphics card? Will gaming performance be negligible? Thanks for any advice!

Just make sure you have a decent aftermarket cooler such as the Cryorig H7 for overclocking. And overclock your GPU as that should help give you a few more FPS.

Thanks for the answer. I usually moderately good fps on most titles 50-70fps however the age of the system is really showing now on newer titles. I've considered overclocking before, however i've been advised against it elsewhere. Perhaps time to save for a new pc.

The only reason not to oc is if you like wasting money. Most can easily get up to 4.5ghz and there are no risks as long as you aren't jacking up the voltage. It's easy too. Set multi to 45, vcore to what it needs and test. You're done and you got a decent performance increase.
