I5 2500k temp help/advice

Hey, I recently build a new computer it been about 3-4 months and when i play heroes of newerth, my cpu temp rose up to 60-65 is that normal or the stock cpu fan aint that great?
and is it fine when the temp sometimes go pass 70 and drop back down to 60s?

That is high but with in limits, check that your cooler is properly seated and consider an aftermarket cooler. Max temp is 72.6°C http://ark.intel.com/products/52210

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo. Unless you're shooting for super high OC's at any point, that will be plenty. I'm at 4.5 with my 212 Evo (push/pull, so not completely stock) and my temps in Prime 95 (constant 100% load @ 1.277V) are 58-62C.

EVO is nice but the 212+ can often be had cheaper is $20 now after MIR on newegg for almost the same cooling performance!

Very true. Only a few degrees difference (if that, depending on how well you apply the thermal paste with the 212+. That's really the main reason why I like to recommend the Evo over the Plus. Harder to screw up the thermal paste application on the Evo.)
