Question i5 3450 80c

My i5 3450 hitting 80c to 85c during gaming or benchmark, changed thermal paste(i put right amount, not too much or little) and cooler, even i use AIO water cooler also the same result, changed motherboard and PSU, i tested in open area (without case) also the same result, is my CPU cooked?

First things first do not use it at that temperature, you'll damage the CPU, you said you were using an AIO, do you have an aircooler on hand, as it may be a dead AIO pump, just don't run anything heavy such as bench marking or gaming till this is fixed

no matter what cooler i use air or water just the same..

When it is on does it feel especially hot because it may be a dead sensor on your mobo, also do you have another motherboard to test it in

i tested on another board, same result.

Do you have another compatible CPU with which to test.

It might just be a faulty internal temperature sensor, can you check if it feels hot when doing something, did it happen all of a sudden???
