i5-3470 temp reaches to 72c when gaming far cry 4

hello .. when gaming fc4 around couple hours my cpu temp reaches to 72c .. at idle its around 30-34c .. is that normal? should i continue playing for now? because i don't want to clean my case from the dust at the moment, I'm planing to clean it maybe after 2 month.

That's way too hot. It should run at 40C max. Has it only got a sock CPU cooler?

Clean your CPU cooler out. Increase CPU fan speed. Or buy a better cooler.

40c what !! .. there is must be misunderstanding here .. the cpu run at 71c max when its under load (far cry 4).. not on idle.
most of cups i saw runs at 60-70c ...there is no way a cpu runs at 40C max when its under load unless it has a quality aftermarket cooler .. 40C under load is a way too low

yeah that what i meant, at idle its between 30-34 .. but when gaming far cry 4 only it goes up to 72c 🙁 .. i have the stock cooler and one fan at the back of the case .. i just don't want to clean my case at the moment, so i was wondering if i can continue gaming until i clean it after 2 month or something
