I5 3570 and i5 3570k is the same?

If im not overlocking my computer than there should be no point in paying extra for a i5 3570k right? Does it actually improve fps in games or is it the same thing?

Also is a i5 3570 a lot better than a Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.7GHz?

The "K" in Intel 3570K just means there's a unlocked multiplier for overclocking. Also, the 3570 is a Sandy Bridge Processor, and the 3570K is a Ivy Bridge Processor, and the specifications are better just for integrated graphics (3570 has Intel 2500 Graphics, 3570K has Intel 4000 Graphics)
