i5 3570+Gtx1080 bottleneck?

Hello!

I have an overkill system but i don't have the best Cpu. I found an i5 5370 laying around in my room and is it any better then my amd 9590 cpu? Will it bottleneck my system?

The pc is only for Gaming so no video rendering etc.

My PC Spec:

Gpu: Gtx 1080
Ram: 32 GB ddr3
Cpu: Amd Fx 9590
Mastercooler 240 Liquid cooling+5 fans
Psu:XFX 850W Pro

Anything is better than the FX9590 , I'd go with 3570 , but do you have a board for it.

Hey, No don't have a board for it. I might be getting one if it is worth it. But will a LGA 1155 motherboard be future proof for other intel cpus? Might be getting a much better intel cpu later on for my Gtx 1080.

No it won't , it's better than a 9590 , but I Would look into a new Ryzen or Intel setup for better performance with he card.
