Hi,I'm new user and i just want to ask question, just like my title, can i put non K i5 3570 processor on my motherboard even if on the processor support list it only listed the K version. Is it compatible???I want to get this used i5 3570 or 3550 to replace my Pentium G620. But i'm afraid it wont work on my Motherboard. Here is the cpu compatible list

http://www.asrock.com/mb/cpu.asp?Model=H61M-HVS

Solution
They are the same H61 chipset MB, they will support all the same cpu as long as they have the right BIOS. Your MB needs BIOS update to support the IB cpu, that only means your MB was made early, you have to do it by yourself, that new version H61, asrock does it for you.
Sorry for late response,so its safe to say that different type of asrock h61 motherboard share the same cpu support list??the link you gave me seems like new version of asrock h61 motherboard, since it doesnt require bios update for ivybridge cpu.My motherboard type is need bios update according to the cpu support list if i want use ivybridge cpu
