Solution BadActor Dec 23, 2015 The shutdown temp is around 100C and the processor thermal throttles just below that. As long as it stays it under 70C, you won't have any problems.

Max temp on Intel is around 90-95c before throttling and shutdown. Max temp on AMD is around 65-70c before throttling and shut down. For both, running 10c or more below max is recommended when operating for extended periods. So that's <80 for Intel and <55 for AMD. Upvote 1 Downvote
